Where do you get your furniture?

As a Decorating Den Interiors franchise, I have direct relationships with 135 suppliers in our LIVV Home Collection™ of fine furniture, custom window treatments, wall and floor coverings, accessories, lighting and even closet systems. Check out our portfolio as well for additional examples of products we can provide.

What happens if I do not like the designs you show me?

At Julie McCarthy Designs, our number one priority is listening to the needs of our clients. Before selecting designs, we take the time to consider the preferred styles and colors of our clients. We do offer a one-time complimentary revision, in the event that you are unhappy with the design. This rarely happens, most of our clients are very pleased with the styles we present them.

Is it possible to return or exchange any of the products?

Our design team does not accept returns. However, if you are not satisfied with any of your purchases, we are happy to offer an alternative selection. There will be an additional exchange fee of 33% of the original purchase price in the event of an exchange.

When should I expect to receive my items?

This depends on the scope of the project and the products involved. Case goods and accessories are already made therefore it will take about 4 weeks for you to receive those particular items. Due to the unique nature of custom pieces, you should expect these items to take about 12-16 weeks to arrive.

Am I able to sample the furniture beforehand?

Furniture is typically custom made for each client, so unfortunately you will not be able to sit in it until it arrives. In addition to prioritizing the design styles of our clients, we also take into consideration your preferred comfort level on seating items and customize them accordingly.
