Julie McCarthy Frankenmuth Interior Decorator

Interior design is more than a passion for me. You could say it’s in my blood. Growing up in Troy, Michigan, I was surrounded by a rich tapestry of architecture and design. My Dad was a builder, so I grew up around building sites and model homes. That led me to pursue interior design. After working for others, I wanted to expand on my experience, which includes kitchen and bath design, and build my own interior design business.

Frankenmuth is a city in Saginaw County in the state of Michigan. The city’s name is a combination of two words. “Franken” represents the Province of Franconia in the Kingdom of Bavaria from which the original settlers came, and the German word “Mut” means courage. Thus, the name Frankenmuth means “courage of the Franconians.
