Julie McCarthy Freeland Interior Decorator

Interior design is more than a passion for me. You could say it’s in my blood. Growing up in Troy, Michigan, I was surrounded by a rich tapestry of architecture and design. My Dad was a builder, so I grew up around building sites and model homes. That led me to pursue interior design. After working for others, I wanted to expand on my experience, which includes kitchen and bath design, and build my own interior design business.

Freeland is an unincorporated community in Tittabawassee Township, Saginaw County in Michigan. The town name of Freeland comes from “Mammy Freeland” who operated a popular tavern on the river, frequented by lumbermen and rivermen.
